Billing questions
When am I charged credits?
Only when a request returns a successful result. An accepted request reserves its maximum possible cost; on success it is charged the actual cost, and if it fails after automatic retries the reservation is released and nothing is charged.
What does a synchronous request cost?
The engine's base price plus 2 credits. The same request as an async task costs the base price.
Are queued tasks charged?
No. Tasks are charged when they complete. Clearing your queue deletes the tasks that have not started, at no cost.
What happens when I run out of credits?
New requests are refused with 403 INSUFFICIENT_CREDITS until your next billing cycle or an upgrade. Self-serve plans are never billed for overage.
Do unused credits roll over?
No. Each billing cycle starts with your plan's credits; unused credits do not carry over.
What if a payment fails?
Your subscription starts no new credit cycle until the invoice is paid. The credits you already have stay usable.
How many requests can run at once?
Your plan's concurrent jobs, listed above. Synchronous calls and running async tasks share them; async tasks beyond the limit wait in your queue.
Can I check my balance from code?
Yes. GET /v1/credits returns your remaining credits and, with a subscription, the credits per cycle and when the cycle resets. Synchronous responses also carry X-Credits-Remaining and X-Credits-Charged.
Can I get more free credits?
Yes: write a review, link to us, or introduce yourself in our community, then claim the bonus on the Billing page of the dashboard. Approved claims add credits every month.
Is there a referral program?
Yes. Share the link on the Referrals page of your dashboard and earn a commission on what the accounts you refer pay in their first months; the rate and duration are shown there.
